Lifting Disadvantaged Communities through Literacy and Numeracy, One Student at a Time

Education Technology, or EdTech, is one of the programs that we are gonna focus on in 2024. Starting from Remedial Literacy and Numeracy in 2021, where we aimed to recover the learning loss post-pandemic, we targeted grade 2-6 students to build or repair their literacy and numeracy skills.

The program provided significant progress for the students, and now we focus on an even earlier intervention starting from grade 1.

9 pre-tests were conducted in 2023, showing promising results. Thus, this year, we focus on delivering the EdTech curriculum to more schools with the help of our generous supporters in Bali, especially from our Melbourne Bright Futures Lunch event last November.

28 schools will be funded, and we will be able to make changes there and in the communities around it, ensuring that their children will get a foundational learning base from grade 1 and boost their journey in education.
