Implementing the Same Mission in East

The plan to support education on the remote and underserved islands to the East of Bali in the West Sumba and Sumbawa islands has been in motion and will start early this year. Working with children and youth who have never attended school (West Sumba) or infrequently do so (Sumbawa), the projects offer plenty of challenges to our dedicated educators.

Bali Children Foundation will deliver the Literacy and Numeracy curriculum for students aged 6 or above in the first phase in these areas. To support the program, we will also conduct teacher training, provide modules and books, and equip classrooms to achieve a conducive learning process for these disadvantaged children and youth.
