Our Students’ Success Stories

  Desak Nyoman Chandra Dewi

Chandra graduated from S1 Construction Engineering at Politeknik Negeri Bali (PNB), Jimbaran.

Studying Engineering opened up many opportunities for her. In 2013, Chandra was one of the few recipients of Frans Seda scholarship to join a ten-week English language course at Charles Darwin University, Australia.
  Ida Ayu Putu Fitriyani

Fitri obtained her Bachelor Degree in Information Technology from Ganesha University (Undiksha).

Shortly after graduating, her expertise in data entry and data management has brought her back to Bali Children Foundation, this time as a valued member of our BCF team. 
“It is now my turn to support BCF,” she said. 
  Kadek Ayu Sartini

Ayu successfully graduated with a Hotel Management Degree Cum Laude from Ganesha University (Undiksha). 

She previously obtained her work training at Sunari Villas & Spa, Lovina and Kupu-Kupu Barong, Ubud. 
Ayu is currently working in the food and beverage section at Tiger Palm Restaurant in Seminyak.
  Putu Bella Dwi Sagitarini

Bella finished her tertiary education at Ganesha University (Undiksha), majoring in Sport Education. 

During her senior years with BCF and while she was at Ganesha, Bella established the Silat (Indonesian Self-Defence) Village Club. 

Bella currently works as a sports teacher in Primary and Junior High School in Banjar. Bella continues to lead the very successful BCF Silat Village Club.
  Putu Angga Wahyudi

Angga has finished a one year university course in Hospitality at Monarch University and completed an internship under Will Merrick at the very successful, Sarong restaurant, where he is now employed as a waiter. 

When asked about his future plans, he answered: 
“I would like to have my own restaurant serving Asian food.” 
  Putu Suarsana

Putu’s love for Balinese culture and tradition brought him to set up our BCF classical Balinese singing club called Mekidung in the Village (MITV).

After graduating from Ganesha University (Undiksha) with a Major in Balinese Language, Putu is currently working for Gedong Kertya Museum in Singaraja. His job in the museum includes recitation and restoration of the Ancient Manuscript.
