We fully understand the natural desire to help Bali Children Foundation in a "practical way".  However our Bali Children Foundation Projects are remote and we are not able to invite or allow volunteers to offer their services on an ad hoc basis.   This doesn't however apply to educational professionals.  For example, currently we do have a need for qualified teachers for our English, Computer, Art and Music programs.  If that is your specialty, please do get in touch with us.

Any volunteers must, in any event, be self supported.  We have no funding to provide accommodation or transport for volunteers.   Our regular, professional volunteers find low cost accommodation and generally hire a car or motorbike for their time here.  All have found it a most rewarding experience helping children who otherwise would not have access to such a variety of educational skills.

Volunteers need to provide us with a minimum of three months notice.  When applying, it is VITAL that you send the following:

  • CV
  • Copy of qualification certificate
  • Current Police Clearance (less than six months old) and/or Working with Children card.  We cannot make ANY exceptions regarding this.

Internship programs in educational fields, supported by the International student's University and accepted by our supervisory University, Ganesha University in Singaraja, Northern Bali, can be considered.  The same rules apply as for our Volunteers program.
